Coffee hour instructions/reminders

PLAN FOR APPROXIMATELY 80 PEOPLE!!!!!

· The “Regular” coffee pot is located on the counter in the kitchen.

Follow instructions posted on the kitchen wall.

· The carafes in the machine are for decaffeinated.

Follow the instructions on the wall near the machine for decaf.

There is a button on the plug in the wall that needs to be turned on.

· Make tea water also.

· Please plan to provide soft drinks/juice for your week.

· There are two roasters on top of the refrigerator for your use.

Take the inside portion with the lid home if you would like.

· There are plenty of plugs for crock pots now installed directly into the food counter.

· Garbage must be emptied and carried to containers around the back of the church.

Leave inside cans with clean, empty bags.

· Put all plastics in the recycling bin.

· Kitchen should be cleaned and left as you found it, wipe tables, and sweep floor

(let’s keep the ants away!)

· Talk to the other members in your week. Plan your coffee hour together.

· Think BIG, CHEAP quantities! Look at restaurant size cans found in Wal-Mart,

Weiss, Sams and a variety of other places. Plan on filling foods that cost less money;

pasta, rice, soups, etc.

· If you have a schedule problem, please switch with another family and mark it on

the sheet in the social hall.

· CALL CAROLYN WITH ANY QUESTIONS, PROBLEMS, SUGGESTIONS

at 264-5701. You will not bother me. In fact, please nag me, remind me, e-mail me

or call me. I am trying to juggle 36 family’s needs. (Husband and children don’t always

give me messages!)

·THANK YOU!!!!! We all give in many ways to our church. Food seems to be one

of our strongest areas!!!
